He had been fortunate. A second or more later and he would have been food for the zombie hoards. Sean decided upon taking a rest, he would need to conserve as much of his stamina as possible if he was going to survive the dead. He slumped down next to a wall and unclipped a small thermal flask from his belt, taking a sip of the pure water contained within. Sean reaffixed the flask, then removed a singular item of food from a belt-attached holder. His food for this assignment was nothing more than standard-issue rations issued to soldiers. Sean had served in the military in the past, and he knew full well about the importance of keeping active and prepared with energy. In battle, one single piece of food or one sip of water could be the difference between life and death.
After consuming the ration and rejuvenating, Sean slowly got to his feet. He checked his remaining ammunition - six clips. He had enough to last him for a fair while, but like food, ammunition was equally crucial for survival. Standing up, the cop surveyed the landscape. The entire city was dead, with the occasional fire raging away from upturned cars and shop buildings. Turning back to his mission, Sean glanced over the edge of the police department roof and saw quite a few zombies milling around aimlessly on the streets, it wouldn't be wise to head down at this moment.
Just then, Sean's radio crackled into life. "Oh my god, is anyone out there, my wife is dying. There's blood everywhere." Came the grainy message. Sean reached to his side and unclipped the radio, holding it to his mouth with his left hand. "Where is you're location." he replied, taking careful looks around him to make sure that nothing was planning on attacking. " I-I don't know, we barricaded ourseves in a resteraunt after those things were eating people. " continued the man on the other end of the line. " You need to find out whe-" Sean began to inform, when suddenly something caught his attention. On the streets below, near the police station, he noticed a survivor wearing what seemed to be a uniform for the Raccoon Police Department. " I'll save you. Just stay there." Sean voiced, causing the radio transmission to end. That face, he recognised it was his old-time partner before Sean was transferred to RPD and before any of this happened.
Sean quickly got up and then he opened the door of the library, which Sean was staying upon the roof for sometime now. Sean quickly went downstairs, it was silent, the deathly aroma of fear and death can only be scented in the air. Obviously Sean knew something or someone was in the library with him, wanting to strike at any moment. Sean looked through the rear mirror on the side, and he had noticed a creature far imaginable then any animal that EVER existed. " What in the wor- " He was caught off-guard as the creature's huge laped tounge had gotten ahold of his foot, where he was slammed down the stairs and then two gunshouts can be heard and then a deathly silence in the air.

Sean finally pushed himself away from the dead zombie that he had just killed just seconds ago.
The crowd of zombies kept going, they haven't noticed Sean since he was hiding in the corner's unrecognizable, these people were searching for flesh, meat.
" Damn it. " Sean said, and then he quickly ran the opposite, away from these zombies. Suddenly he tripped over something and noticed a dog, eating a human. As the dog turned around and growled, half of it's face was missing, " Shit. " Sean got up and shot a round, it had no affect to it. As Sean started running, the dog was chasing him, it's vicous jaw snapping at him, wanting to take a chunk of flesh out of him. Sean jumped on a car, and looked back, as he pushed himself to fall on the floor. He shot three rounds into it's head, before hearing gunshouts.
"Ok People we are moving out" Bildo Called to the group who was manageing to keep the hoards of zombie's at bay for the moment..

Just a maze..This wasn't a damn sewer system just a maze..It was all just confusion and dead ends. Who the hell knew where to go in this mess? He had noticed the lickers were stuck down here as well. Sure a few got out but it was like a damn nest here. He wasn't going to risk killing any of them. That would attract too much damn attention. Walking along yet another cemented path way next to stagnant water. He wiped the dirt and grime from his forehead checking his amunition round. "Well, just my damn day." A brief bubble would sound as Project R continued along his way towards the shoot off. Most likely to an Umbrella lab or something like that. His footsteps continued to echo as a slightly ridged back circulated out of the water then back in simply trailing.
