"And who are you?" He looked at her. She looked anxious or angry maybe just hungry like Jake. He guessed she had survived something aweful just like the other two had.
"Theres still plenty where that cam from downstairs in the store."
"Me and Jake here were discussing getting some vehicles together and loading them with supplies. Then getting out of here."
"It'll be even easier to make that happen since we've got another person.", Buck said picking up the pan and draining out the water. He then added the pack of seasoning. He pushed a fork into the noodles and stirred. It smelled good. With one motion he dropped the noodles into a bowl. "There ya go."
Berina took the bowl gratefully and ate the noodles slowly so that she wouldn't get integestion, nodding slightly and pausing as she spoke, "That sounds like a good idea, and you'll be pleased to know that there are more survivors on this island so once we stock up then we could round them up and make our way off the island all together?"
"Well, ive been stuck in the trees for the last few days just picking the bastards off, they are easy to kill. But they arent when im afraid of..." He started as he rubbed his hand on his face "There was this big ass thing walking on all fours. IT had a long tongue and long claws. It chased me until i planted seven bullets in its brain. We should conserve our ammo, we cant afford to be out of ammo if another one of them appear..."

He took out his only flash grenade through it in the air and fired at it the flash lit the entire area almost and blinding the attackers, he tried to get up but, one of the attackers recovered to quickly he was hit by a quick deadly tongue(wtf 😐 ), luckly t had been at his body armor though his caused it to crack.
"Bingo!" he thought to himself.
He ran towards the direction of the flash grenade and saw the creature, he has seen it times before, but this is the first time he has seen someone fighting against it and still alive.
"Good thing it hasn't seen me yet" he thought. Using this as an advantage he aimed his Samurai Edge 9mm carefully and planted 3 shots into the creature's head, killing it.
"Are you alright!?" he asked the man.
"Please be alive.." he thought outloud

"Lickers, I didn't think they'd make it this far after I destroyed one of their nests." Berina replied and sighed, "They're a little easier to kill than you think, bullets don't do as much damage as you'd like to hope they would do. They actually just piss the monsters off even more."

He kept his gun ready in case another licker attacked them.

he dropped the weapon and began to search for his pistol, nowhere he lost it, wait no he gave it Tori he whispered 'f*** me' to himself and turned to face the horror
