Public Speaking

i have to give 3 oral reports in the space of 1 week....and i suck at public speaking.....

what can help make it more comfortable?

i can speak and read stuff....but then.....bang... 😮.....

im not too good....

The "imagine them in the nude" technique is bull**** It never works for me.

I just try to act like I am in conversation. I keep my eyes on the important person (i.e. the professor) and speak as if it were everyday talk. I make sure to sweep the audience everynow and then though.

Oooo ouch, that must suck a lot. I can't speak in front of a bunch of people either.... I end up stuttering a bit 😖

I guess to make it more comfortable, you should know your material very well, and pretend you're alone in your room or something (as hard as that may be)

Well that's a good idea.... I guess you just have to make yourself relax a lot too.... look and act like you know what you are doing, and make them think you love being up there, even tho you're scared to death....

i did that one friday...it kinda worked..

It's easy if its PowerPoint. I just reiterate the words on the screen.

i hate public speaking as well. i stutter sometimes which makes it worse 🙁

public speaking is easy...instead of the nude thing...try and check out all the hotties while your doing your presentation...do that and you should be golden
