British General Election

Im sorry but is there already a post on this topic if so then i've not seen it.

But this is a very important topic that i felt people must have oppinions on even those who arnt british,

i want labour to win and the SNP to dissolve.Now being from scotland i get alot of stick for saying that but scotland and england have been in union for years and we've not wared for hundreds.So trying to stay on the GE ill say voet

It's got to the point where we have to vote for a liar or an accident waiting to happen purely because there's no one better.

Americans on this site got nothing but a truck load of grief from Brits because Bush was re-elected President for a 2nd term.

Some of my favorite comments were:

"How stupid could you guys be?"

"What kind of morons are you?"

And now it looks like you're about to follw in our footsteps. Ahh how sweet it is...

One of your candidates was a war-mongering psychopath, the other was a pathetic in most ways.

I just think it would have been better to elect the latter, but that's me.

I have every confidence that that will be the case because I believe we will have a similarly dirty system with a pre-ordained result of Labour winning... I don't know anyone who claims they will vote labour yet I'm sure that May 6th/7th there will still be Labour in No.10...

Oh well... I suppose it could have been worse/more-so with electronic voting too... Heres hoping for a Howard win.... I'd vote lib-dem were it not for the fact that I feel it may be wasted as I don't really think they stand as much of a chance as the tories do.... Hell... I support the left usually but damn... Labour have gotta go, for me I can't stand the lies, the nanny statism, Blair with his god complex and his ambitions to be president of the world etc anymore.... I voted labour in the first time... Never again.... Just my tuppence worth...

Who's actually worst. The leader who risks the lives of his people to fulfill his OWN agenda, or the leader who risks the lives of his people to fulfill the someone else's agenda.

At least Bush makes his own decisions. Blair lets Bush make his decisions for him.

So when are you going to point out the difference to me?

Blair is a warmongering, lying psychopath just the same as Bush. You're lying to yourself if you believe otherwise. Last time I checked Blair was the first to sign up for the "coalition of the willing" not the last.

And who's to say John Kerry was just "pathetic" and not actually a "accident waiting to happen"? Sounds like Michael Howard is just as pathetic as John Kerry if he can't win the vote over your current leader.

The similarities between our countries are astonishing, but not nearly as astonishing as the general attitude on this board that the British government is in any way better than that of the United States.

Blair is the best thing to happen to this country we have live so much better than the americans i mean we have a better education system the NHS and powerful alliences.Not that im saying americas bad and i like bush the war was justified even howerd sayed he'd go to war WMD's or not.

Blair has helped the Lower classes of this country and Brown will soon take over so lets not say no to labour just because the war.
