Why is the sky blue?

Post your theorys here.

it feels like it😐

I think its a reflextion of the water.

the atmospheres reflection of the general colour of the arth, it beaing waht... 70% minmum water it makes it blue, where as if we bled a a million blue whales or more the sky would be red

i think you need to take high school physics😐

i thnk you need fog lights

It's because of the way the atmosphere filters sunlight to the human eyeball. A horse may see the sky as red, but the majority of humans see it as blue.

My personal theory "Cause God made it that way." But for real, look here:

Yeah, but technically I was right because I brought the website so 😛

ahh very interesting eh 🙂

Actually, it has to do with the type of radiation your eyes see... Your eyes mostly pick up blue colored radiation than any other color because that is the most common color their is of radiation on earth you see. Read that somewhere...

probally both right

Yeah, but I invented the internet, so . . . . 😬

from the Chemistry point of view the sky is blue because the number of Nitrogen and Oxygen molecules fall closer to the blue shade of the spectrum. making the the sky blue.

and i invented email.......

it isn't blue 😑

it is black and purple, and pink, and white, and... 😄

the sky is blue because someone in history assigned the word "blue" to that particular colour

if they decided that colour would be called "green" all those years ago...then the sky would be green

Your sky is blue bc mine is gray
