Final Fantasy X-2:RPG

(Are we allowed to sphere change, Yunie? I've been meaning to ask you.)

As Rikku fell, she notice Yuna catching up quickly. Still clutching her belongings, she waved, spinning around in the air.

The ground became closer, with many rocks scattered about. Rikku flipped so when she fell, she would most certainly land on two feet. She braced herself....

When Rikku touched the ground, her ankles tingled unpleasantly, but other then that, she was perfectly ok. Rikku then waited for Yuna, taking off her goggles, which were just to keep the wind from her eyes during the fall.

Yuna flopped around like a rag doll in the air. She was really horrid at this kinda stuff. Soon she was on the ground in a heap. But she made it.

"Rikku, where are we going?" asked Yuna. "There is no where 'cool' in Gagazat-" Began Yuna before Rikku the Whirlwind was pulling her down the slopes.

"We're going for a dip in those hot springs," She began. after a few moments, they were standing in front of it. Rikku ran off behind a huge, silver rock to change into her swimming suit. She ran back moments later and jumped in, laughing.

Her inner-child was alive once more as she splashed her cousin. "So, how come you followed me, Yunie?"

"You seem troubled. I know we've been working hard lately finding spheres. Why don't we give it a break? I've been meaning to ask you but ever since the 'guardians' came on board it's been hectic," said Yuna.

(Hey Paddy! If we made a final Fantasy group today maybe me and you can be summoners in one. No one said you couldn't have two summoners in a group)

(True ^^ That would be cool....Hehe, I guess it's alright, and I'm sure TM won't say no...)

"Oh, I'm alright, Yunie," she said, sinking down so only above her chin showed.

"Are they bothering you? Those no good boys-" began Yuna.

Rikku intercepted Yuna. "Actually, It's not exactly them...." she began. "You know, ever since....well, ever since Tidus dissapeared everything's been so strange, so...so empty. You know? And we've been searching for so long, i'm beginning to have doubts." Rikku sighed, leaning back, her hair beginning to get a bit wet.

"Sorry. Forget it."

"Yeah, I will. I sort of-" began Yuna. She reached behind her and pulled out a sphere that was shiny. She dusted off some of the grime. "Rikku, this weird!" Yuna held it out to Rikku to play she still didn't get ti even when Rikku said for the hundreth time.

Rikku gave a confused glance at it. "A sphere? I wonder what's in it...." Then the small glass ball began to play....

(Um, since you run the rp, you get to say what's in it ^^)

The sphere levitated in the air. Then it spun really fast until it slowed. It showed Yuna and Rikku talking on the ship.

"So, I guess you'll be gone after you defeat Sin," began Rikku. Tears leaked down Rikku's face and Yuna patted her on the back. Rikku was only fifteen back then and pretty foolish too. "We can't let you go. You know."

"Rikku, I don't know what to say. I thought when I chose to be a summoner this would be easier somehow but it isn't. It's harder," said Yuna. She got up and hid her tears as Rikku looked on.

Darkness enclosed the sphere. "Is that it? Our secret conversation? I wonder who overheard," said Yuna. "Maybe that no good brother."

"Wait Yunie there's more," said Rikku. And another picture came into focus. "This is all from your pilgrimage two years ago."

Rikku gazed at the sphere, never blinking. This was so strang. "No, it wasn't Brother....maybe it was-" But she stopped as the next part came into veiw.

The picture dissolved into view. "I know your watching Yuna and you too Rikku. Well, were almost there in Zankarkand. When you go-no, your not going. I will protect you no matter what. I can't let you go. You guys mean a lot. But I will. If you ever need me whistle. Well that's all I have to say," said Tidus. It touches the off button but before they got a glimpse of everyone around a campfire in Zankarkand.

"That is the weirdest sphere and you wouldn't expect to find it here," said Yuna. A whole wash of tears spilled down her nose to the ground.

Rikku was now also on the verge of tears, but held back. She couldn't cry, she had to be strong. "Y-Yunie, it's ok." she said, resting a hand on her shoulder. "Forget what I said, we'll find him, no matter wha-" but Rikku stopped mid-sentance.

"Just whistle." The words rang through her head. Without warning, she stood, water splashing about.

Rikku inhaled, putting two fingers to her mouth, then blew. Her whistle rand out, echoeing on the many rocks, reaching the sky. Rikku continued for a few minutes untill she decided she needed air.

Rikku sad, her head down. She took the sphere in her hands, staring at it, as if it may play more. But after a moment she decided it would not, and set it on the rock.

"Wait Rikku!" said Yuna. She turned her head and saw some sort of outline outside the cave. "Whose there?"
(You can add to the story too. I run out of ideas. LOL. 🙂)

Rikku turned towards the mouth of the cave. "Hello?" She said loudly. The shimmering outlind seemed to be growing smaller, it was running father into the cave. "Hey!" Rikku jumped out of the hot spring, grabbing her blades. She quickly sphere changed into her thief outfit and ran after it.

Yuna sighed and spherechanged to gunner. Slowly Yuna tore after Rikku such as she had never run before.

Rikku ran as fast as she could. Soon, Yuna and Rikku ran into a dimly lighted opening. It was a large room. Rikku glanced around, more alert then ever. Her eyes caught sight of the same figure, in one of the many shadows. The two ran towards it....

Yuna jumped and pounced on it. "We got you now!" she screamed. "Is that you Tidus?"

Rikku gasped in confusion. It looked like him, but could it be? Are you really....him?" she whispered, afraid to touch him.

Yuna reached her hand out and it went right through. It couldn't be him. "Rikku, maybe we'll-" The thing shook its head and mouthed 'Farplane.'
