How exactly is that good for America? Saddam deserves to be punished, but the whole process has cost: Many lives, lots of money, damaged the US's credability on the world stage and so on.

Good I'll admit in image, not so much if that's all it's for. He could have a member from every racial group in existance, but it has little meaning for the people or Nation if it doesn't have any actual benifit. It just looks nice in press releases.

And they are? Prochristian, antiabortion, depriving gays of certain equal rights, started stepping around personal freedoms etc. Why is it good reinforcing conservative values? I'd be more impressed if it could be said "Took a liberal path that increased cooperation between all people, drove back racism and bigotry in all it's forms, was a fried of the arts and education etc. But alas, he preserves conservative beliefs.

A tree-humping hippie is an un-employed leftie who hasn't bathed in over a month and sing songs about shit that'll never happen.

No idea what this has to do with anything, but it's never a good thing to catagorise such a diverse group as those who lean more to the left of the political spectrum.

Still, far be it for me to say he has been a bad leader - I don't have to put up with him. Still, as an outsider looking it it would appear that historians will have less good things to say about him then bad. Not saying that there are no good things (I mean the Texas Rangers are an example of good things) but there certainly seems to be bad things.

Oh and Healthcare is generally paid partially by business's and split with individuals🙂 Massachusets just had a bill signed for an interesting health insurance standard actually.

If a citizen lacks such a policy, then they must either pay for treatment, or typically be treated at another, cheaper, or sometimes third-rate hospital, or the county hospital.

Thats been addressed. And healthcare facilities that serve people with medicaid and medicare are not exactly top notch. Actually, it's pretty much as the quote describes, third rate.

As for the businesses, that only covers people who work for big enough businesses that can pay so much money for health benefits.

I don't know what Massachusetts just put into action, but I hope its good.

GW has ruined everything outside that is all I know.

Well, he's pretty usless isn't he? Especially when you look see that he's groveling for the aproval of people who will never give it (like you people, for example), while ignoring the fact the some people actually once aproved of him, and elected him to do something other than try to please the party they voted against. The only good thing he has done, is not go vietnam on Iraq, and on 9/11 wasn't like, omgosh omgosh omgosh, *goes to hide under his desk for the rest of his term*.

I do think he is, at least, better than the other people who could have been elected. As opossed to doing a lot of things I don't want, he's just doing nothing. (except with amnesty, grrr)

Oh, Bush has awarded Halliburton a $385 million no bid contract to build a network of detention centers (concentration camps) in the United States. It's true that Eisenhower had plans to do the same thing for housing commnunists (complete with crematoria), but as far as anyone knows, they were never built.
