Yes, I have read books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and one of Sharon Draper's books. I even met her!! Sharen Draper that is! She came to my school last fall! Awesome huh?

Another author you should look into is Vivian Vande Velde. She writes some pretty good books. Look for titles like: Dragon's Bait, Heir Apparent, and Compainions of the Night.
