Wolverine wouldn't do either after it. His speed feat that he suprised a PC Kryptonian should seal the deal here.

I'm only going by PC though.

..not every Skrull is K'lrt. Not every Vampire is as strong as Dracula. Not every Herald of Galactus is Silver Surfer. And not every Kryptonian is... 🙂

remember that time when Deathstroke suprised that Kryptonian with is speed and agility? 🙂

If it's PC, then he means young Clark as Superboy.

Thanks I not overly knowledgeable on DC especially high level characters.

To be honest I dont even get what pre or post crisis event means nor how characters can be complete different in power between the two.

PC Superboy (the young PC Superman) you're right, good thing is in this case he is 🙂

Well, Pre-Crisis is before the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, a big DC event back in the day. Generally, power levels were...absurd. Post-Crisis is anything after COIE, in which the majority of the DC Universe was retconned in some manner.

But yes, Pre-Crisis Kryptonians were pretty ridic.

Oh ok thanks. What did the retconned? Was it because people were two powerful? Or to unrealistic or something?

And a shitload of "stories" were just retarded.

Thor flies at light speed and Wolverine surprised Thor with his speed as well. I don't get the argument of KK surprising people that flies at light speed. Wolverine has also kept up (even though he couldn't damage him) with Sentry who has also flown at light speed. He didn't have a problem slashing at gladiator either.

I think everything at a certain point it just became stupid, like Superman sneezing away a solar system.

While in other issues he was knocked out by a woodlog.

People were too powerful and the infinite universes thing was causing problems for the mainstream stories

Well, DC had some pretty jumbled continuity at the time. I don't think it was power levels by themselves as you do have plenty of post-crisis feats which approach the ridiculous factor, but Superman, for instance was depowered quite a bit. He's slowly getting back up there, though.

But yeah, as a rule, especially Kryptonians and Green Lanterns, Pre-Crisis versions of characters would handily defeat post crisis versions. Some examples of feats include sneezing away solar systems and tugging a row of planets via a giant chain.

Forgot to add... Logan stabbed the hell out of Phoenix and she was flying through space at FTL speeds.

Oh ok I get it. So they instead decided just to reconnt the universe to fix it. Interesting. There was a entire multi cross over storyline in which the reconnt was explained?

How many times has DC earth been reconnt?

kept up? he didn't land a hit and sentry was clearly not taking him seriously.

More or less.

Usually, something gets changed in every Crisis. I know some people go as far as to use "Pre/Post Infinite Crisis" for character versions, too.
