Not me. Don't put words in my mouth. I said he could do just about... JUST ABOUT any feat imaginible. Which DOES NOT mean that he can do anything, it just means that he can do almost anything. And that has been stated by the Wizard staff. In fact it's already in a couple threads in here.

Wisdom : Not enough to counter Surfer's experience. I don't care if CM has been around sinse the 40s. SS had been helping Galactus way before he was introduced into comics.
Strength: Would help if Surfer let him get close enough, but Surfer won't. He'd just zip around him and blast him from long distances.
Stamina: It may take a while, but blasted enough times and CM goes down.
Power: Sure he's got the power of Zeus, but Surfer is a herald of galactus meaning Surfer's no slouch in power. And lightning bolts vs the power cosmic?
Speed: CM may have the edge in speed if Surfer didn't have his board, but Surfer could zip around and blast him with his board.

Indeed nice scans. While this doesn't prove that SS could beat CM, I would just like to point out that CM was healed during that fight.
Well nobody knows for sure how long Surfer was helping Galactus, but he'd been a herald for "countless years" (whatever amount that means) before he arrived to Earth the first time to help Galctus devour the planet. You know when Surfer first met the Fantastic Four.
The story could have changed sinse then. I'm sure it has. But I'm going by the original.
It's definitely a tough fight. There's no denying that. I just think that Surfer could beat him. But I guess that it's just me.
Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury. That's a lot of power. (Plus the other couple powers he has gained over the years), but Surfer just seems to have powers that can combat all that and plus some.

Here it comes. BUT you kind of hurt the SHAZAM cause by showing the fight. It looks as if he was pretty well taken out (sling, bruises, scratches etc.) then he was HELPED out, by an outside source. By being fully healed. To try it again. While the rest of his at that time foes were not. And then he MAY have triumphed. on his own or with further help I'm not sure. I haven't read that storyline. So i think that SHAZAM would not have been able to handle the situation without interference (Full health).
