How Powerful is the Role of Beauty in Societal Success?

I think its rather significant...

I'm sure it helps, but I don't think it's going to make you more successful. Maybe societal attention is more appropriate. I recall reading a study that attractive people make more money, but I don't recall what facts it used to back that up. But, I think money is more important than looks. But when they're combined you get ahead a lot faster.

I remember it had to with employers favoring people with more beauty than others. They gave them higher wages and bigger breaks than those who were "ugly".

There has been a reaseerch done, and its been said that good looking people are better treated than not so good looking ones.

I guess based on that, it does help - but how poerful it is, I don't really know.

That makes sense.

My teacher said that some study showed that good looking kids are treated better by their parents then ugly kids.

They would go into a supermarket and rate a kid's looks from 1-10 then observe how attentive the parent was to the kid and whether or not they would strap their kids in the seat in the shopping cart, how far they would let them roam on their own, etc.

Actually it was that they strapped good looking kids in more and let them roam less.. so wouldn't it be that only ugly kids get kidnapped?

but for sure some stuff is easier with the looks
