Real ID Act Passed - The End Of America

That's not true, even now—there have been numerous people arrested under ridiculous circumstances, given horribly biased trials, and thrown in jail, or worse.

The ID card is a little scary, but frankly the gun thing isn't a big concern to me. I enjoy going to the range occasionally, but there are countries that have similarly strict gun legislation where there is considerably less gun violence. I don't understand how this is such a big deal... Like I said, they've always arrested people the government didn't like for doing basically nothing, they've always been capable of monitoring our every move, and it won't change much if they have stricter gun laws. Jesus.

the police can track any purchase made through receipts, security cameras, and such. it just takes them longer to do it. unless you have something to hide, I think the ID cards would just make the criminal investigations run faster and more smoothly

We kinda already do have ID cards...its called our social security number.

lol yeah thats true too.

there is already so many ways to track people, and the government already does. they could tear through your entire life if they wanted to, and unless youre on their $hit list, they tend to not care.
i dont understand why people get so upset over these things. as long as it doesnt get out of control, then im fine with it.

But you never know, the ID cards could be a good or a bad thing. we'll just have to wait and find out.

I just dont like the idea of not being able to go into a post office because the governor doesnt want them. And I definetly dont think that they will prevent terrorism...because just as regular ID's...people will eventually be able to make fake ones with records and paperwork attached to it.

I am not bothered by a ID card whatsoever.
Though I do share Deanos disdain for a one world government, i don't see this as being a step towards that

Deano there's nothing wrong with ID cards. It is not the first step to a police state. And the government knowing who has which guns is a great idea. This is nothing like soviet russia
