So because odin respected thanos thanos would have won?

So you actually think thanos would have won?Odin was making thanos eat dirt.No way odin would have won the fight.

How the fight would have ended is anyone's guess but the fact is Odin failed to put him down.

I agree no way Odin would have won that fight.

So you are saying thanos would have beaten odin?Wrong.

Yes, because he was holding back whereas Odin wasn't.

You're thinking of Mxy. And WHTTMOT wasn't canon. Once again you tip your "I know nothing of the Spectre" hat.

To quote Alan Moore: "This is an imaginary story. But than, aren't they all?"

When Supes tried attacking Spectre, his best punch was compared to a snowflake gently brushing the skin. Supes also couldn't outrun him.

I love Thor too but his daddy wouldn't last more than 5 seconds against Mxy

CIS off, definitely.

As far as an "in character" scenario, he's pretty easy to outsmart. Mxy is his own worst enemy.

I know a good deal about Spectre actually.

Lol. Just like Carver knows everything about Superman, right? 😂

I've read CoIE, a bunch of JSA comics and DoV. Good enough.

Also, one Spectre beings in all realities, that's gotta be worth something right Quan?

So you started with one good showing in COIE, jumped to Hal Spectre, by far the weakest version of the character, read Day of Vengeance where he doesn't even have a host, and think that's good enough? O_o

Try reading some of his Jim Corrigan days. Maybe read some of Ostranders series, or see what he did in Zero Hour.

Actually, if you've read JSA, you see a direct comparison of Corrigan vs Hal spectres fighting the King of Tears.

I have read ZH and I remember Spectre losing to Parallax after a long fight...I don't recall them doing any massive damage to the universe..

I have never read up on KoT, but I know that he is something like DC's version of Shuma Gorath or Zom. I'm on your side BTW...Spectre wins easily.

"A bunch of JSA comics" could just mean you've read three or four comics total for all I know.

So you've probably read a tenth of the Spectre's total bibliography if even that. Hardly enough to qualify as a 'good deal'.

I'm pretty sure that you haven't read all of Spectre's appearances either.

Never claimed to. Nor do I claim to be an expert. But I'm certain I've read more than you have and have a firmer grasp of the character and his history.

We know Odin wasn't holding back while Thanos was there to get Odin's help so it makes sense for him to hold back.

Spectre's all over the board so what's wrong with his selections here?

I know Odin was in that comic. Agreed.

Yes. I think that's always been the case though.
