Friday the 13th....

I woke up not putting the 2 together, Friday & the 13th. The usual goes on until I go out to pay for my monthly car payment on my car, and the mechanic reminds me it's Friday the 13th. I come out to my car & somehow I got the keys locked in the security lock mode in the ignition to prevent Grand Theft Auto or something, and it took me like 10 minutes to figure out the shifter wasn't ALL the way in Park.

I missed the U-Turn by SEARS after speeding up to get in front of this minivan for no reason, and got stuck at the next U-turn for about 5 minutes, get to Foot Locker, they don't even have the G6's that came out today. I had no time to drive to the mall, nor do I wanna go myself. I leave the Foot Locker parking lot, for this DICK to CHANGE.LANES. at the last second, and blare his horn at me, he got the finger from me for what he did.

It's only the beginning to, it's 1:15, and in exactly 1 hour I have to work 2:15-closing. I'm going to be on Returns as usual, so who knows what I'll screw up...I just hope I don't screw up royally since I'm closing with all girls I think. *dies*

Is barely 10:10 am where I live. Still have a long day to go. 🙁

The whole point is that the common bad luck that happens every day (stuck in traffic, steppin in dog-poo, delayed trains and such) are suddenly over-noticed on a friday the 13th, because of silly supersticion. Same shit, different day, don't let a date fool you.

13 is my lucky number.

thank god today's the 13th. tonight will be a friday the 13th marathon. plus on wensday the 18th i get to see the final star wars film.

Don't try, just realize. Any human stepping outside is bound to encounter some mild to very uncomfortable situations at any day. During the largest part of the year this gets accepted as part of life, but on a Friday the 13th: not so happy, but quite casual events are instantly linked to the superstitious legend concerning this particular day.
I have had 2 black cats, my room as a child was under a staircase (ladder), I broke 2 mirrors and I am still very happy in my life!
Friday the 13th is a fossil of ancient believes, common sense should overrule it's folkloric scariness
