you allude to the idea that its common. thats why "meh". im not saying you're lying, but it was presented in a "this is what you should expect" kinda way.

:edit: doesnt matter, dont really want to get into an issue over it, just keep in mind that such intense addiction is pretty rare.

Oh tay I didn't read everything, but my feels are this "I want Pizza".

Honestly, I don't feel that "Weed" should be against the law. Hahahah.....People that smoke are less violent and they eat more, so they contribute towards the economy............hahahha

They are kinda like here but not........lol........and yet they are protected by the law..............lol

Did it? I didn't mean for it to sound like that, sorry. Yeah I am aware it's uncommon, and I have no problems with people using cannabis in moderation. I will still smoke a spliff at a party. But, once you're smoking ganj every day, you are addicted, simple as that.

Well they were at one time..or at least ignored by it.............

*thinks the states are not really looking out for the best interest of people and cracking down on people that are sweet but made a mistake.*

not necessarily

I'm (also) addicted to boobies!

Well it depends, if the person would go to great lengths to get it every single day and spends most of their earnings on it. Then I'd say they were addicted, luckily though you are right, it's not common.

thankfully one wont likely end up committing murder to buy more as with a severe addiction. (im sure withdrawal from pot is annoying, but in light of alcohol, cocaine, meth, painkillers/muscle relaxers and heroine, its childsplay.

all i know is ive seen alcohol directly wreck lives. im pretty sure that this falls above anecdotal evidence since im fairly certain that many here (mostly of adult ige i sincerely hope) have encoutered alcoholics either among friends or even family. to tell you the truth if i had a kid id rather they smoke pot if i had to choose. worst case scenario they become a broke slacker....which is better than dead....much better imho.

Yes excellent point. Though there is a lot of conclusive evidence linking cannabis abuse to schizophrenia, AKA cannabis psychosis.

But yes I agree with you, it's an annoying with withdrawal, but not by any means one you'd rob for. You wouldn't ever need to, stoner mates are usually always willing to share. Even if there wasn't, I don't think it's anywhere near bad enough to go at mugging for.

also, im not saying there are no idiots out there who will allow themselves to sink to where they're giving handjobs at the trainstation to buy pot, but the same idiots would probably do it for a klondike bar.

*waits for backfire*

Yeah pretty much. people who do let weed addiction get that far were destined to have that kind of addiction. Or are just wierdos or idiots.

Wait...

Pot...addictions?

Yeah

IMO it doesnt matter if pot is dangerous/addicting or not. People should still have the right to do it as they please.

though rare and not relatively severe it does happen

Addiction to anything is just not really good for you...Well that is if you think too much about it...Other wise a time to take a break once in awhile is not a bad thing IMO.

Its a common lie that pot is a safe drug. Don't let people fool you by telling you it is. I wasted about 2-3 years smoking the stuff in my teens and it was a total waste, thank goodness i didn't smoke it longer!!
So don't buy into the BS that weed is a natural drug that is good for you. Poison Ivy is natural, should you rub that over your body?
Read these articles, and think twice before thinking weed is harmless

the only people who thinks it is harmless are addicts in denial. I doubt anyone needed to be told this

wow it sure is a night for false dilemmas

marijuana addiction does occur. However, like all problems of this nature, "addiction" is not considered "abuse" until certain symptoms are displayed by the user. Most pot users would never qualify for the same type of abuse addiction as with harder drugs.

The addiction argument is a red herring. Yes it is addictive, but no more so than the caffeine in coffee or sugar.

Oh, and just to throw out some support to pot smokers everywhere. I am a daily pot smoker. I also work in a neuroscience research lab. All of my friends are daily smokers, and with few exceptions are the most intellectual and expressive people I know. I think the laziness and those things people always associate with pot is due more to a lack of motivation caused directly by the drug. (It may have more to do with attention though, sigh the difficulties of studying illegal substances). So ya, being "addicted" to pot is not necessarily a sign of failure for an individual.
