Well, like I've said, Hulk starts out at class 70, Abom starts out at class 100, Abom ALWAYS beats him at the start of the fight, then Hulk gets enraged and kicks his ass.
Since Abom doesn't get stronger with rage, he is totally outclassed.
Herc'=100+(or 300-400 tons)
Abom=100 tons flat.
Also, Herc has HUNDREDS of years of fighting experience and training, Abom' is just a decent hand to hand fighter.

Indeed. And considering that his strength starts above that of the Hulk, and can also grow as the hulk's, he has enough potential (even though he's always losing to the jolly green giant 🙁 )

Hulk is 100+class at his base if he's green...and when has he had to get mad for hours? that was one of the most stupid things ive heard
Not so fast ol' bean, I finally found the issue where it takes Hulk hours to be as strong as Thor.
THOR #385: Thor sees Hulk reeking havoc and decides that if he were to use his hammer he could kill Hulk, so he tosses it aside and goes at hulk h2h.
Thor punches Hulk around for a minute and they engage into a WWF style "Strength Hold", basically testing who is the strongest, Hulk doesn't break the hold until almost 3 hours, then he basically pummels Thor.
But, I admit I was wrong about Abom, it happens.
