I was just wondering why Robert Plant uses two microphones together while singing in some of the performances on that dvd. Any one know why?

Could be that one mic was going through a channel with reverb/early delay and the other was dry...?

they'd put effects on one so they didnt have to mess around with it all during the show... can just switch each mic on and off
