Have you actually heard all of the first album, TP? Nothing Slash like at all. He probably did more astounding things on the Audioslave album as a whole than in most Rage, bar a few songs.
No the band isn't 75% Rage. 75% of the ex-members, maybe.
To say Audioslave don't compare in any way is ridiculous, IMO.

Still, might wanna consider that the band is actually 75% ex-Rage members, and a better vocalist, before you say they can't ever/can't now compare to Rage. Considering three fourths of them were Rage. The Rage behind Rage. Zack's voice added to it, but all he did was write the lyrics. Brad, Tom and Tim did all the Rage.
Zack isn't in Audioslave by the way.
