star wars movies

sorry if this is in the wrong area but i want to kno if you guys make your own starwars movies? i do and my question is what you use for the lightsaber effects? i use photoshop but it takes forever. if you guys make your own, what do you use?

Though after effects is like $400, you can get a trial but it won't let you save it. but yeah, after effects is like one of the best home editing programs their is.

just use a fx friggin lightsaber. you can get em @ masterreplicas.com about $119 bucks a peice...... so play nice
