hey guys..i was doing a little research, and i found this great site for pics of fantasy animals...its actually lots of drawings ppl have done...but some of them are really good...heres a pic i found of a phoenix...but there were loads more, if you like it, i can post the addy.

i found this one at a different site...perhaps i'm just a sucker for rainbows 🙂

Lianslo, those are great pics!! I plan on doing a little research as well. I think if we all put our head together and research a couple of good pics, we'll have a bunch and can then choose the best from there.

I'll get my eyes open for that phoenix in the sig.

Hey everyone! Just writing to let you all know that I'm back for good! 😄 My internet is up and working again so I should be around more often cos I've noticed some of you were wondering where I am 🙂

It also seems that so much has happened while I was away that it will take me a long time just to catch up 😖

I agree, the idea rocks! but i don't think i've got the right kind of programs for it...although my school prolly does have power point or something...

Now, if only we can sort it out - i'll try to see what I can come up with over the weekend and it'd be great if some others could try too if they have the right programs.

We also need to try and figure out what we want to say in our poem/haiku? 🙂

I can prepare the draft poem, lirics, I mean together with the others, but you lot think we should first have the poem and based on that compile the collage or the other way around

Totally Uni, I was wondering the same thing - we have to explain why we chose the animals we did/how they relate to our house and so it's probably a good idea to come up with the poem first (but we can still mess around with the pics first for practise 😛)

Oh just in case anyone was wondering, and I forgot most of it myself too - here is the definition of a haiku (if that's what we decide to use):

Haiku is a Japanese verse form that relies on brevity and simplicity to convey its message. It is usually three lines of five, seven, and five syllables, and frequently includes natural images or themes. It is believed to have been first written in the seventeenth century and is based on a Zen Buddhist philosophy of simplicity and the idea of perfection that excludes the extraneous.
