I just visited the sorting hat ... WOW... 41 members so FAR!!!! I didn't expected this at all... BUT.. we have to exercise carefullness, especially the head boy and girl (supported by the prefects) because if rools are not in place soon this can all turn to mess! I suggest taking points from house would be a good way to keep it going properly, unfortunately that would be the only way at least for the start until "the students" don't develop Hogwarts culture !

I know I sound boring..rules... In order to be transparent I think the heads and the prefects should compile a list of rools (basic) in numerical way so everytime they give or take points they can quote " 10 points from Slytherin in accordance with rule no1.1" , and Slytherin's prefects or who else can check and see... if that would not be the case then the heads can corect it! I will compile a list of this and post it here for ur reference
...here they are, bacically 3 chapters: Hogwarts, Games and Students:
Hogwarts
1. Hogwarts is managed by the head boy -girl together with the prefects
1.1 Head boy-girl have executive power over everyone including the prefects
1.2 A decision of the Head girl-boy can be overruled only in case when such agreement is supported by 70% of total Hogwarts students and supported by all prefects.
1.3 Head boy-girl can ask a particular house to replace a prefect at any time, but such decision should be supported by the other prefect of the same housel and the majority of students of that house.
1.4 The prefects might disqualify a student for misbehaviors for maximum of 2 days, provided if they inform the heads immediately, if the student refuses to obey, then the punishment doubles. The disqualification is in force once that is confirmed by the heads.
1.5 Prefects are expected to respect the rules and the students!
Games
2. The house that will fin the first competing game, will have to come out with proposal for the second game in two days. Then the prefects and the one of the judging head will set up the rules in one day.
2.1 Each house would elect representatives to represent the house in every game; the number of the representatives will depend of the game rules which would be proposed by the proposing house and confirmed by other prefects and heads
2.2 One prefect from each house and one Head would resume the role of judges for the games. The judging prefect will have to be impartial and objective to everyone, the same applies for the judging head. The heads would agree among them self which one of them will assume the role of judge, the same goes for the prefects. For impartial and non-objective judgment the heads can exercise rule No. 1.3
2.3 Only prefects and the non judging head are allowed to post in the inter-house thread in addition of the house representatives. The judging prefects or the heads can take points from the house of a student that posts without authorization.
2.4 The points taken from a house (2.2) would vary from 10-30 and not more and should be confirmed by the judging head, which might reduce it.
2.5 There will be unified voting techniques for all the houses, a proposal will be considered only if the prefects support that, the students however might complain to the heads if he considers that injustice has been done to him. If the heads agree with him, rule number 1.1 is applicable.
2.6 The student who proposes game or challenge should propose the rules also.
Students
3.1 Students are expected to respect all the rules
3.2 Students have the right to propose games and express their opinion in the house common room.
3.3. Students can complain to the head girl and boy if they are at opinion that injustice was done to them. The head boy and Girl should help to settle the problem peacefully, and might sent an owl to the prefect in question warning him on the behavior.
3.4 In extreme situation student can initiate procedure to replace the prefects.
3.5 Replacing the prefects requires 70% votes from the total house members.
3.6 Once that such procedure (3.5) the head boy and girl have to be informed immediately by the student, who would monitor the whole process.

That sounds very professional. I like the "10 points away from (name of house) according to rule no.1. Anyway, we have an updated Nominations list. I haven't voted yet, but I will. This is the list.
