Funerals........

I hate funerals, don't you? Its always hard too say good bye, an sad, I didn't go to my Mothers which I regret to this day.

Never been to one, no one in my family's died since I was born....people call me the good luck charm 😄

Wow, you really didn't go to your mother's funeral? Why? Just curious. I'm not holding anything against you. I know how circumstances can define a moment.

Well on the day my Dad was really sick and couldn't get out of bed, we couldn't post-phone it for reasons and I volentered too stay home and look after my Dad, but the real reason was that I didn't want to say good-bye, if I didn't say good then I thought i wouldn't be leaving her, get what i'm saying?

Ohhh 🙁 I wanted to go to my grandpa's funeral but they didn't let me 😬 My parents said I was too young back then and I'd just end up being depressed.

ive been to my grandads, great nanas and my best freinds dads funeral. They arent a nice experience obviously. Some people prefer to go and say good bye, others find it too upsetting. Personally i prefer to go and say my goodbyes but it depends on the person. People have different ways of handilling it.freddy, i totally understand why you didnt go and im sorry to hear that you regret it but please dont regret it because lots of people would have done the same in your situation.sorry to hear bout your mom x-x

I've only ever had two people in my family die, one when I was a baby, and one when I was three, so both times I was considered too young to go. I wouldn't really want to go to a funeral, too depressing

I've been to 4 funerals. After awhile you just don't get upset anymore.

I went to my grandma's funeral when I was about 9 years old.

I've been to 3 funerals (I think) 😑. The funeral (and wake) isn't the saddest part, more of a celebration of their life and goodbye. 😬

Oh wow, I hate funerals, but if I was close to the person, I would go to their funeral. They scare me so much and it's not the easiest thing to say goodbye while seeing them, and then seeing them being put in the ground.

i like going to the funerals because it helps me to get over the death of the person and i enjoy drinking with the close relatives to help forget the pain....well i like the drinking anyways.

i think they are a good time to get together with others who knew the person and talk about all the good times.

It always is hard, but thats cause I am an emotional person anyway. But I kinda get what you are saying Link.

i have only been to 1 funeral, it was my grandfathers and it was the first time I seen my older cousin cry.
