I got a 14 . As for the second one, it is kinda funny, but I have to laugh that republicans see Canada as a place where people:
-are Pacifists (Have these people ever watched hockey?)
-believe in Abdication of Sovereignty
-are Communist (repubs seam to love to through that word around but I often doubt that they know much about the concept)
-believe in Entitlements (once again i think they are confusing the belief that people should help others in their own country with basic entitlement)
-believe in Isolationism (Canada sends it's forces to other parts of the world out of a sense of duty, not for the financial benefits of select citizens.
-endorse the Lack of Personal Responsibility (our national animal is the beaver because we believe in a hard work ethic, not because we like to get alot of tail, although that's true too. Hey, it's cold up here!)
- endorse the Approbation of Sex With Minors (way to fill the heads of people with total crap)
-indulge in Frivolous Lawsuits (although it's starting to get bad, I believe that the U.S. takes the prize for this one)
- are Soft on crime (we have a lower crime rate and a generally safer environment to live in, we must be doing something right.)
Sorry had to vent, those GOP folks are full of BullSH*T, and did anyone read the FAQ section?
1) Are you trying to say that all Democrats are Liberals?No! There are some Democrats that do not believe in any of these ideologies. However, until the Democratic Party comes out and officially distances themselves from these wacko fringe groups, they are going to be viewed as "guilty by association".
2) Don't you think that telling people to leave the country is bigoted?
Not at all. The people who believe in having sex with children, for instance, are undoubtedly going to be unhappy living here since the overwhelming majority of people in this country think it is horribly immoral. I am only suggesting that they go someplace where they can be happy.
3) So, what exactly is your point?
My point is that many people who believe that they are Democrats, largely because that's what their parents told them they were, are under the impression that today's Democrat is the same as the Democrats of the 1940's when nothing could be further from the truth. The Democratic party of today has been hijacked by the likes of Michael Moore, Al Franken and many others that have taken the party so far to the left that it is an empty shell of what it used to be. The real reason that John Kerry lost the election is because a sufficient number of Democrats realized that they have been left behind by their beloved party and they do not wish to follow. We now have 3 parties in this country, Republican, Democrat and Liberal. Its time that the Democrats realize that they need to officially pick a party or the Liberal wing will pick a party for them.
