It sucks because the interface limits the amount of games you can play. Plus it makes gaming a chore, imagine swinging your way through zelda.
Any true hardcore gamer will not and have not had any problem with any remote. A true gamer will adapt. Complaining about a system as a whole sucking is one thing, thats your opinion and your entitled to it, but whining about a controller in particular, saying it is too hard to be fun, is showing your own weakness.

everyone was complaining about the xbox controllers, saying they were two big..ive played every type of xbox controller and found no problem, despite being small for my age..same thing for every game controller ive ever played with (atari, NES, SNES, ps1, ps2, ps3, n64, gamecube, wii, xbox, xbox360 to name some)

nintendo is still in the run.
with the release of games like mario, ssubb, red steel, and other titles that are sure to sell, not to mention the gameboy franchise and it shold on the FF games, it is selling quite good, plus its cheaper, and more affordable for most people. Alot of people see the 600-700 dollar ps3 and the 250 dollar Nintendo wii, and go a different way.
its a shame that people think Nintendo is falling behind when it has been around longer then any console still around, give it some credit.

My weakness, How many Hard Core gamers complained about the N64 controller when it came out? I still have scars on my thumb, and it use to be a ***** playing on it, but I still played my N64 to death. Hard Core gaming is about being analytical about games, not adapting to a stupid interface.
