Well, I live in New York, but the Gamestop I was at with my friend was closing, and they were having a lowered price sale.

Well, I hope the 360 can use some RPG's, Puzzles, and more Free-Form Action/Adventure games.

Also, the reason why the Wii has sold more is because it's looking for more hardcore gamers. Casual gamers are fewer in population, and hardcore gamers are looking for a console that they can stick to 23/7.

PS3 might do something groundbreaking next year. Don't put it down yet.

Ahhh.

Would be nice. I want to get one, but I'm still holding off so that there'll be more than two games I want to play.

Wii has sold more because it's looking for hardcore gamers and casual gamers are fewer in population? You're a bit confused there. The Wii is selling like it is because it is trying to draw in the casual and non-gamer crowd more, and the hardcore gamers are much, much fewer in population. The hardcore fans of ANYTHING always make up a tiny amount of the population, which is why it's always a bad idea to try and focus on them. The PS3 is proof of this.

I really don't think they will and even if they do, it's going to be not enough too late. Them getting rid of the backwards compatibility is probably one of the stupidest things they could do and I don't think many people are going to go for the 80GB system, which will be the only option very shortly. Case in point - we've had them in stock over a month and not sold a single one. Nor are the 60GB systems selling much more than they were before.

It would be.

The PS3 was pretty much screwed up from the start then, huh?

They got rid of backwards compatabiliity? Why? And what are you gonna do since the PS3 hasn't been selling at your store?

Sony's been messing up a lot of things with the PS3.

They've axed backwards compatibility with the 80GB system and will be replacing it with software updates similar to how the 360 does it. Problem is, there's a much larger back catalog of Playstation games - probably around 2500 (possibly) combined between the PS2 and PSX, and that's just the ones released in the US.

They've done it to try and cut costs, as they're still losing a large amount of money on each console sold. But that fact is going to put off a lot of people who still want to be able to play their old games on their new console. And even the fact that they're bundling in a game isn't going to really help any, as it's a crappy game no one wants.

What also will not help is the fact that they've lost just about every third party exclusive they formerly had. Right now all that's left is Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, and FF's exclusivity has been up in the air for some time now, and no one will be surprised if MGS ends up on the 360. The only decent exclusive game they have at the moment is Resistance, and that game is not a system seller.

And what are we going to do? Well, they basically just collect dust in the back. We get PS3s traded in fairly regularly as well. 360s sell regularly and Wiis are gone the instant we get them in - a shipment usually lasts a day if we're lucky.

well, the PS3 is pretty much only good for a paperweight then.

Well... I borrowed MP:3 from a buddy and I haven't even so much as looked at my 360. I regret spending any money at all on Halo 3 right now. I mean.. analog sticks are for suckers, really. The aim of the Wii-mote is dead on perfect and easy to control, and contrary to the usual anti-Wii crap I've been playing for little over two hours straight and my hands and arms haven't gotten tired yet.

Do they have any street fighter games for the wii?!

Dunno. I doubt it. Sucks I know, thats probably the only reason I'll keep my 360, so that I can download Street Fighter and play as Gouki YEZZSSS!!!

Damn shame.

i heard somewhere that gouki's named was derived from goku. is this true???

Yeah he's Goku's red headed step child.

No. Gouki/Akuma means devil or demon.

Why's the black guy gotta be a devil/demon?

He's not black. 😠 😘 😮‍💨 😎

He's Blaxican.

Obviously he's not black, he has red hair.

He's Black and Mexican, and died his hair in salsa.

fvcking Blaxicans..

i want to join your gouki pwnz all clan

but be aware that ryu is capable of beating him and is on a relative level to gouki

pffft. No wai. His Kamehameha- I mean hadoukenX1000 is no match for Gouki's submarine kick attack.
