How do you know that Plo is slow? We never seen him run around and fight. So get rid of your ****** assumptions. He is a Shien Dejem so fighter i believe, the same as anakin, and luke. They were not slow fighters.

Maul is amazing for appearing in one movie, killing one jedi, and then dying. Tha about sums up his life.(Besides any of the novels about him)
He grew out of pure dark energy became a sith sat on his ass and waited till the day he would die. Great sith.
ANd i know your going to say the same for PLo koon, so go ahead. He at least lived longer, and fought in more battles, and wars then your friend Maul. He trained to improve his lightsaber skills like mace windu. And was indeed a great jedi. Maybe not the best, but I really dont care about that. And about the screen time in the movies, and the talking scenes.
Only a few had talking scenes, like mace, yoda, obi wan, anakin, the droids, padme,ki adi, and the senetor. There could be more i cant
remember. He never had a talking line because he wasnt as important as mace or yoda, he was just used to filter. Which makes sense because he is not the point of the movie. Anakin decending to the dark side is the story here. So every other jedi has very little screen time.
Repeating: Maul served one purpose in TPM, Die at the hands of Obi wan, and kill Qui gon Jinn. You cant say shit about one jedi because you really know nothing about him. So stuff those words back in your mouth.

Nobody owns one another... people dont make threads like this unless a few noobs do. but Maul has his rights to fight a good fight with plo koon. Im tired of hearing that someone will own another. The only time u can say that is if there is a GG vs Yoda fight.
This topic has generated some heat, I see. My opinion on this duel is that Darth Maul would eventually be victorious.
Here's why I think that:
Darth Maul defeated Qui-Gon Jinn. As someone already mentioned, Qui-Gon could have been on the Council if he had played by the rules a little more. And as someone has already logically pointed out, the fact remains that Koon was on the Council, where Jinn was not--so Koon would waste Maul. I would like to point out that being on the council does not make you especially talented with a lightsaber. The best example of this is Coleman Trebor, that would be the Jedi Master that got killed not by a lightsaber, but by blaster fire. Being on the council means you are in tune with the will of the Force, it does not mean that you are exceptional with a lightsaber. I submit that Qui-Gon was Plo Koon's superior in the lightsaber category, and thus Darth Maul wins.
