...and now we try to figure out why the English football board haven't fired Sven Goran Eriksson.

Absolutely THE shittest manager of all time.

Not that I give a shit, I don't like the English football team. I just think that the good players they do have should be given a better chance at becoming something with a good manager.

agreed 100%

why bring james on when you know he is shit?
so when he makes the mistake he did, was actually any of you surprised?
when james made the mistake i was angry at sven, not james.
im also angry at the midfield for playing like shit.
put there club shirt on them and they will soon step it up.

on the plus side, it was only a friendly and im sure we woudnt of played that bad in a competive match, we need a few more matchs to get the tempo up.
rooney and defoe played well, defence fell apart when terry and robinson went off

pissed off!

half of those players arent good enough to play for england...

james, cole, ferdinand, sol campbell (when he's picked), neville... shit needs sorting...

and beckham is doing nothing but stopping wright phillips from showing the world what he can do...

I didn't see the game (New Zealand doesn't cover friendlies) but as an avid English football fan this is a hard one to stomach. With the players we have there is no way that this should happen.
Sven has taken England as far as they are going to go with him and its time to bring in a manager with balls. I've lost count of the important matches where we have taken the lead only to chuck everyone behind the ball and wait for the other team to equalise (Brazil, France and Portugal). He has no idea of tactics and fails to inspire his players, but the players do deserve some criticism to. You cant tell me that with a midfield of Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham they cant rally the troops and inject some fire into the game. On paper we have one of the top teams in the world but i cant remember the last time they gelled as a team consistently.

It looked as if Wales donned the English shirt instead of England. I was pissed off at sven as soon as I saw David James on the field at the beginning of the 2nd half.

But man, it was already going pear-shaped when Ferdinand and Robinson didnt sync in the first opening minutes with a shitty pass finding its way to a Danish regal corner.

The midfield was shit having Beckham and Lampard & Co. seeking the long shots instead of ball-to-ground fine touching.

WTF ??

3 GOALS IN 7 minutes !

❌ sven sven sven

Tottenham requested Robinson play only 45mins because he has a knee injury... who would you put on in replacement? - personally, i'd try out Smith from Southampton (i think)

Beckham..... RIGHT WING DICKHEAD!!! - i actually see him as 1 of the reasons we lost it, his absence on the right wing at ridiculous moments left gaps all over the pitch which their exceptional wingers exploited mercilessly

why play beckham as a roaming midfielder? he's one of the best crossers in the world, what use is he in the centre?
why take off Defoe when Owen can't play the next game and Defoe and Rooney obviously have't gelled properly in the first 45mins

All of those questions can be directed at Sven but he probably couldn't answer any of them. 🙁

we wont play that bad again. rest assured.

in the meantime i will just play winning eleven 8(pes4) on the ps2 and continue to smash denmark untill the pain goes away

Its only a exhibition game.

But its the same thing with Team Canada for hockey. Its assumed we will win, and if we dont, its like the apocalypse.

You never know, this game could get Team England worried and shit, and the next thing you know, they play much better.

It happened to Team Canada in 2002 Winter Olympics. We were slated to win gold, and the first game against Swede, we got rocked 5-2. What happens afterwords was that Canada, got worried and shit, and played much better, winning the gold. It could happen to England.

come on wales 🙂🙂

wales will feel the full backlash 😄

never we shall win ✅

optimism...lol

as or todays game, i hope arsenal win

Now, I swear Drogba was offside, besides that goal being lucky.

Lame, although to be fair Lehmann could have covered that and Arsenal didn't play well enough to deserve a win. We passed and played well but nowhere near as productive as we should or could have been.

chelsea are so lucky. both teams played well and i think that arsenal should of had a penalty. A draw would of been a fair result

It's a shame Arsenal's no loss record against Chelsea is now broken and with a mediocre goal like that. But Chelsea, with its million-pound signings, have been winning their matches with some bit of luck. And now Mourinho's having trouble cos he knows he won't be able to field all his key players all the time. Talk about an overcrowded locker room.
