i don't follow soccer so i don't know what's going on, i figure there are so much fuss made about him because of his looks, so he may not be a good player, but they made him captain of the english team, so perhaps he has skills afterall? and the panalty kicks, i heard ppl say that he's one of the best, but is he?

he's very lethal on freekicks (and from time to time on penalties if he doesn't slip 😛)

About the refs: he came to Sporting with the diver fame from Benfica, and now the refs show him the yellow card most of the times, even when he is not diving but suffering a real penalty. Most of the times Sporting get prejudice without reason.

Sometimes I think he is a Benfica's undercover agent.

Beckham is a good player. He is not a regular player. Sometimes he is great, othertimes he is only more one on field without any special performance.

I think his look and his wife Victoria help him in is carrer a lot.

Never really liked him. He had one good game the 3-6. That was it.
The refs always signal him...cant remember him suffering a real penalty.
