i didnt say it was a perfect idea. it would make the game more exciting, thats why its good. pretty much said all that already.

you're supposed to read the posts 😛

I did read the post.. and it didn't make sense, and I don't think it would make games more exciting.

What you make of this from The Independent:

Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Tottenham's in-form striker Dimitar Berbatov, with Peter Crouch possibly moving back to White Hart Lane.

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

That would be too excellent.

on the subject of penaltys to settle draws....

why dont they just have 0 points for a no score draw..1 point for a score raw..3 points win...4 points away win.

idea suggested in the paper. pretty good

the way it is now is the way it should stay

yea theres nothing wrong with how it is now.

bullshit penalty. couldnt give us the clean sheet.

2 points for a draw after penalties wouldn't encourage people not to play for the draw; in fact, if anything it would do the opposite.

0 points for a draw would though.

Robinson - "That's why you're No. 1!"

Mido is a fat idiot.

Tham it, Arsenal lost and in final minutes of the game.

aww...

yeah that was awesome, what a boring game. i really dont see the appeal of arsenal, that shit is not fun to watch. and whats going on with lescott, that guy has got to fix his head. shave it or something, jesus.

Arsenal are still in the top half of the table despite having a season that isn't entertaining. Entertainment doesn't necessarily prove the quality of a team.

If you've only been paying attention to Arsenal for the past two seasons, you won't have seen why there's appeal. I don't think there's anybody here who could seriously deny that at their best, they play amazing football. Unless it's a Tottenham fan.

Joking, or am I? (I am.).

(Or am I?).

I don't think you're joking because I usually laugh at jokes, rather than the people who tell them.

Go Spurs!

It's a bit silly to attempt to use that game to represent Arsenal as a whole, though. They've beaten- in a season when by all accounts, including their own, they haven't been anywhere near their best- Blackburn 6-2, and Liverpool 6-3. They've had two exciting games with Man Utd; beaten Liverpool 3-1 and 3-0; Spurs 3-0; they won 4-0 against Reading in one of the best displays of attacking football of recent years.

Did you watch all of those and think they were boring?

If so, you need to either define what you mean by 'boring', or reassess your football knowledge, bias, or both.

They're third you mug. Top half is 10 teams.

Might as well say they're still in the Premier League.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Just accept the fact that Arsenal are shit and boring.

O and Spurs are so much better then Arsenal, thats way they are ahead of Arsenal on the table, o wait, they aren't.

i woke up at 10am this morning because it's the day Spurs v Arsenal tickets go on sale... sold out in half an hour -.-

i didnt get to see any of those actually, although i did know they happened so its not much of an excuse. its just when you wake up early or tape a game and make time to watch it and its the most boring game you've seen all season, and then it happens the next 5 (not exagerating) times you watch an arsenal game, its hard not to complain about it.

Yeah. Out of the FA cup too. Terrible.

Complete lack of bright English talent (dont even bring up Walcott... he's showing exactly why i thought he was overrated, he can run fast, but cant pass, cross or tackle...)

That's not just Arsenal, it's England as a whole.

'he can run fast, but cant pass, cross or tackle'

Aaron Lennon. SWP. Walcott.

None have got any end product at all.
