You could have expected that... These 2 teams usually never play very attractibely or spectacularly.
In the end I somehow regret that some teams like Arsenal or the Real have been eliminated, because the games will be less entertaining. But if Monaco is in shape as it was against Real, maybe... *hopes*

LOL Porto doesnt play attractively?! Its not an Italian team.I understand why Coruña doent play attractively, they havent been in the big league for that long. But Porto inst a defensive team nor is it too over technical. Obviously every team has technique.
The truth is I have harsh opinions about football and I like to see very good games, which are...rare. The only teams that sometimes play well here are Monaco and Sochaux (so quite a few...). I'm just saying that Porto's way of playing isn't very attractive (except sometimes when Deco starts to play)

Have you seen Inter play? One of the biggest Italian teams plays defensively. Face it, they all do. Milan is probably the only one that doesnt in every game. Plus they are always favored 😖 And are way too violent. Some players shouldnt even be aloud to play.
I like to see good games to mate, thats why I dont watch Italian football 😉
Porto plays well and with imagination, or magic. That game was bad because the teams fit to well together. Plus Porto is tired right now. They have been going down in these last few games.

You can't tell that everyone plays defensively just because Inter does; Lyon plays like crap all the time and is champion. Does that mean that every French team play like crap ? Most of them do but things aren't related. AC and Juventus don't play defensively (most of the time).
Defensively ??? The average number of goals in one French championship's game is 2.33 (In the Premiership, the Liga or in serie A it is around 2.65) !! We have a defensive championship !
What's more you can play defesively and attractively (except when you start being violent and committing fouls all he time)
I was giving an example. Milan and Juve are the only ones that (most of the time)actually play to win even if its by 1 goal. All the other teams are satisfied with the 0-0.
As for French teams I dont know cos I dont get the french championship.

I didn't know that ; as a matter of fact he's partly right, for Monaco is mostly composed of young players, and even if they are full of talent, the role of Didier Deschamps (Monaco's coach) is very important and the team isn't quite the same without Giuly and Rothen (the 2 offensive Midfielders) . So Monaco can play bad as well as very good.
What's more it isn't looked upon as a very solid team (unlike La Coruña or AC for example).
But actually, and considering the 2 games against the Real and the one against Chelsea, Mourinho is partly proved wrong, for Monaco's players have discovered they could play better, go further and resist big teams.
I don't get the Portuguese championship either 😉

- Both Makelele (Yellow Card) and Desailly (UEFA decision ) won't take part in the return game in 10 days (Chelsea/Monaco).
-I think Monaco had its chance...
-I think it will have more difficulties against the winner (Depor or Porto) because these are two teams that can be very solid and neutralize a game. (the latest game is a good example)
-If La Coruña gets qualified for the final, I seriously doubt they will play the same way as they did when they lost 8-3 against Monaco 😛. Porto won't either : so that will be a good test for Monaco (if it gets qualified)
