Ultimate Spider-Man the video game...

You can absorb as many people as you want for as long as you want. You free-roam with Venom after you complete the game. And you can sorta free-roam with him in story-mode.

Cool. But can you also do mini missions with him?

Nope. After you complete story-mode, it's pretty much just a 'rack up points by killing/destroying things' game.

That's what I meant by mini missions.I was saying do you go around fighting ordinary criminals with Venom like you do with Spiderman.

Heck no. You kill innocents. mwahahaha

I know,I said do you fight criminals too.

No, you don't. It seems like all the criminals go into hiding when you play as Venom. Kinda funny.

Cool.I'll just go around as Venom terroizing the city and absoring people's life forces. 😄

That's prettymuch all you do. It's funny, you can absorb or kill as many innocent people as you want, but when you destroy a car, thepolice come after you. It just escalates after that; SHIELD brings the hurt.

Well,it's better than nothing.I'll take my chances with S.H.I.E.L.D rather than jump around and get bored.

The worst thing about this game is how fast it's over and how little there is to do after it's over. Gauranteed to bore you to tears after a week. 🙁

I'm still getting it.

My sister says she has it for PS2 and she'll give it to me either for my birthday or Christmas.Hopefully I'll get it for my birthday which is this upcoming Wednesday.

I didn't get it for my birthday but I'm getting it tomorrow! My sis brought it over yesterday and it's sitting under the tree.

Rented it a while ago.

I (casually) played it for one night, and a morning, and finished the damn thing.

I wasn't even trying.

Now, take into consideration the makers have clearly tried to spread the game length out by adding compulsory story-shit like combat tours and checkpoint races (if theres anything I hate in platformers, its f*cking checkpoint races), the actual good bits of the game work out about roughly 2-3 hours.

Now, consider the fact that every boss is pretty much the same, and the fights consist of repeating the same identical pattern of attack for about ten minutes each, the game is clearly full of filler, pretending to have substance when it is mild meltingly shallow. Take the Silver Sable boss fight, which is over after some random button mashing (yes, I tried attacking properly, but bashing the buttons seemed to make the health bars tick down quicker and I could get onto the next monotonous, boring section). Call that a boss? An insult to my intelligence more like.

I had to actually check the box to make sure the makers weren't Fisher Price.

How many times do you fight the Goblin?

I got the game and there was a freaking CD in the case and not the actual game.I have to wait until later this week for my sister to bring by the receipt and possibly take me to the store where she bought it.If they don't have a copy of this at the store I'll get the King Kong game for PS2.

what kind of cd?

I don't know,it was yellow and had songs on it I guess. It's name is Tragic Kingdom.

I'm guessing Scorpion and Mysterio myself.Mysterio has an arc coming up in USM though.

WHAA???

Favorite villain ever!!

An arc. Not a one-shot, an arc?? Tell me more of this, simpletons.

I just got the game. It is life. I am complete. One thing that stinks is that the Wolverine fight is so early in the game, it should have been a big fight.
