the controls were compleatly symplistic. which didn't make sense because there were UNUSED BUTTONS. at least on the PS2 controller. i will no describe my fantasy spider-man game so we can all look back at what was promised to us and well scream.

circle: grab
triangle: kick
x: jump
L1: lock on (for gods sake thank you)
L2: web
R2: web swing
R2, square: booste while swinging also swinging kick
R2, triangle: reel in
R2, circle: fork webs...shoot one while hanging on to the other
L2, square (tap): web bullet, like in the movie a short quick hardening projectile
L2, triangle: web spray/net: good for slowing down enemies, creating barriers, and fixing damaged items or holding up debris
L2, circle (hold): disarm an opponent, web the gun and pull
L2 circle (tap): fire a gunk of stick web, blinds enemy for a whilie
R1: dodge
R1, X: dodging jump, sumemrsault, cartwheel back flip depending on direction
RI circle: Crouch...prepares for higher jumps and lowers chance of getting hit
R1, triangle: weave to left or right,
on ground, hold (R1, L1, circle): fires two webs to make the sling shot effect....
Ri circle R2: fire web straight up, to hang from a verticle line or crawl to ceiling
L2, (to web) square hold: swing an enemy, use contral pad to swing and triangle to alter web length
L2 (to web) ttriangle (tap) reel enemy in for a punch.
plus bring back a combat system from the first and second game. the worst part is that we know they can do this or something like this
R2, L2: web zip
X, and hold circle: land on an enemy then bash their head in

Triangle: tenticle rape i mean attack
circle: short grab
circle (to grab) square: chewing...grab an enemy and bit them with those teeth of yours
R2: super jump
R2, triangle: tentcle slaming fall, land with a wrath of orbiting tenticles
R2, square: slam attack, land with your fist causing a great shock wave
L2: Feed
L1: lock on
L2, R2: tenticle graple for movement
Hold Circle and L2: long range graple, send out a tenticle to grab someone and reel them in with triangle, spear them with teeth square, or launch them away into a wall with circle, or bring them in for food by tapping L2 agian.
hold square, circle: claw grab, swipe them and snag them with ooze around the head, then throw them away or what have you
square (while holding someone): face plant
R1: deflect with tenticles
R1 circle: Crouch
Ri circle square: while crouching, let out a wave of toothy tenticles, like the spider web thing where you could get it to explode hurting everyone around you from game 1
R1, square: lunge, shoulder check a target or group of target
R1 triangle: double tenticle whip, two tenticles meeting in the center for a scisor attack
additional ideas. bring back combos for both with either fighitng combos for spidy and tentacle moves for venom using a point system like game 2. also make more things breakable and throwable. for example why can't spidy throw a box or trashcan...or even web an object and use it to bash someone. or why can't venom uproot a trafic light or parking meeter and chuck it? if he can fling cars why can't he fling a freaking mail box. also make the comic villians more like their actual combat styles. Rhino's fight made sense but everything after that was a rehash. Rhino keep his fight, use wrecking balls or buildings crashing in on himself to fight him. Electro, ok fling cars and stuff. but for electro it shouldn't be that he has a lot of health it should be that one or two hit will take him down, but it should be insanly hard to do so, having to dodge a mad number of lightning bolts and attacks to get close enough. GreenGoblin, ok i can see the fire but why does he use a predictable patern and get tired? have him throwing a mad amount of fire balls, make it so he has to bust open a fire hydrent to extinguish him and that makes him open to attack. Beetle...well he's lame. we needed Doc Oct, with his shapeshifting arms there. how great would that be fighting agianst four pivoting machinguns/flamethrowers/tazers/arms. sand man would be interesting too. we also had for filler scorpion, and vulture, because we had like zero actual aireal combats. i alway thought that for the random city events in addition to some bank robbers and gang wars and injured people you could have some minor or major villians randomly popping up. how cool would it be to on the way to race Human Tourch you see say i don't know hob Goblin tearing up the streets? makes the city events more interesting and brings in more characters.. just me venting though
