Yeah, what's the deal with The Fight being cut? Anakin vs Obi-wan was NOT the 13 min. straight duel that Nick and Hayden boasted about in countless interviews. Hopefully The Fight gets extended, as well as the Jedi deaths in the Temple and out in the field. As far as Commander Cody is concerned, the Emperor mentioned him before going to Mustafar so I don't think in the final draft of the script Cody was killed by Obi since Palps mentioned him later. That is lame though, I really wanted to see that.
yeah I know! totally. He's all "dad, I wanna kill som'n on screen". "ok son".
I like the comic version better, the kid is being chased, runs out of the temple, and the clones talking to Bail turn around and kill him.
And Lazer: he already knows something is wrong, thats why he goes down there to talk to them and doesn't just drive away. And the way it was handled in the film shows that a LITTLE padawan can drop several clones, leading one to assume that maybe the masters might be able to handle them. It was just a bad way to convey needed info. I know WHY they did it, and I'm saying it could have been done better.
i'm glad that anakin didn't have any one liners, i read that in the book and thought "wow, that is so michael bay/Jerry Bruchheimer" (the ass end of movie making).
as for the rest... well most of Lucas' cuts in the prequals have been incredibly stupid. If half the cut stuff was left in the phantom menace it would have been a longer, but overall better movie.
as for a billion editions of all the movies, I think it's hypocritical that Lucas makes all this money off of the same stuff and merchandising rights and exclusive Walmart deals when politically, he's somewhat to the left of Michael Moore.
well i agree that the movie was in my opinion the best by far, but i was looking so forward to jinn talking to obi-wan. i am just sooo upset that they cut the fight scene down, its the biggest battle in star wars history and it should be long. but the dvd will reveal all. so i will just be happy and enjoy the greatest movie ever.
