Yeah, I don't know WHY Obi-Wan lost to Dooku, especially in ROTS. But that's irrelevant. Plo Koon is extremely powerful, and Kenobi RULZ. Together I think they might do it, and with Mundi, who is at least a Jedi Master, I think it can be done (why is Mundi such a wimp? He got pnd by Grievous in Clone Wars and do you remember that scene in AOTC when the Jedi were surrounded by the droids in the coliseum and a defeated Mundi was led INTO THE CIRCLE - by DROIDS? What the hell is this?).
The Jedi are being surrounded by the droids. Then the fighting stops and the super battle droids retract their blasters and their arms go up. The fighting stops. Then Dooku offers to allow the Jedi to survive if they surrender. THIS is where it shows captive Jedi, Mundi among them, being pushed into the circle of Jedi, now unarmed. Mace Windu says "We will not be hostages to be bartered, Dooku" and Dooku replies "Then, I'm sorry, old friend." It's on the DVD. If you still aren't sure I could pinpoint the second at which it happens.
Yeah, I agree, and, to Janus, I forgot that Koon was also a captive in the coliseum (also they were released into the circle of Jedi by Geonosians, not droids - sorry about that). How does this work? The Jedi MASTERS gave up to non-Force-users? Jeez. By the way, on the DVD, for the scene I mean, skip to 1 hr, 55 mins, and 49 secs into the movie (1:55:49). The scene only lasts about five seconds, so you've got to pay attention. But anyway, what the hell is UP with that?
It goes on to support my thesis that pre-Clone Wars Jedi need some serious training, man. I mean, in Shatterpoint, Mace Windu (The original black and badass Jedi master who hands Sidious his balls for lunch) is taken quite a few times, usually by a handful of troopers using either stun blasts or slugguns. Obviously slugs (Like our modern daybullets) can occassionally pierce or deflect from a lightsaber beam depending on their make up. Also, stun beams can't be deflected all the time, so it seems. So Mace gets pwned by a bunch of backwoods mercenaries.
