Antilles

Just wondering, who is captain Antilles? I have heard it is Wedge's father or Wedge but I thought Wedges dad owned a fueling station and Wedge would have been to young. Is it just another Antilles? Anyone know?

Guess Antilles is a common name maybe on Alderaan. Dont know about Wedge background or homeplanet, that info aint in the films so it doesnt matter anyway.
Captain Antilles is just a link between ROTS and ANH

Antilles is just a common name.

Remember in TPM, one of the senators mentioned in the senate scene was Bail Antilles. Then we have Captain Antilles, and also Wedge Antilles. There is no relation between any of them.

This particular Antilles is the captain in ANH that is interrogated and choked by Vader. If you listen to the ANH radio drama and listen to C3PO in the film, he refers that their last master as Captain Antilles.

actually we knever get to know if the officver chocked by Vader really is Captain Antilles that is just an assumption
