Yes but both of us know...wait a minute. Your text, sentence structure, word phrasing, it seems different. Maybe it's because I haven't seen you in a while, but....

Well, I'm not a native speaker. So, don't expect I'm good at it. 😊

No, your text....ah what am I saying, I've been trying to take my speech reading to the text. Attempting to read the people. It's failed for others I'd doubt it would work on you.

So how was your christmas, or hanukah, kwanza get together thing with your family and friends. (I do recall a thread of yours of Christmas not being in the bible, but it's vague...)

Oh, Okay. I understand. πŸ™‚

Well, thanks, but since I don't commemorate Christmas as Christ's birth, these days have been fine with me... as always. I always spend wonderful times with my family and friends... be it Christmas or not. It's just the same and ordinary day. πŸ™‚

I am aware of that, and its good to hear. Did we ever decide on a date? When Jesus was really born?

Nobody knows when. Catholic authorities chose the date Dec.25 to have a Christian version of Mithraic feast.

If only the Bible tells us a date, then we would gladly be celebrating Jesus' birth. But since, there's none, why would resemble something about Christ with pagan notions? He didn't even instructed the early Chritians to celebrate or commemorate His birthday. Meaning, by virtue of God's plan, the date of Christ's birth is irrelevant for the salvation of God's people.

πŸ™‚

as is a number of things that we decide to celebrate

Depends on what you are celebrating. If you want to celebrate your birthday, without contradicting the Bible, then you can. People can celebrate what their country and nationality is commemorating as long as it doesn't contradict the Bible. For a Christian like me, what is every enjoyment and happiness we can get from a celebration if we do what is against God's will.

πŸ™‚ Gtg now. for lunch. Nice chatting with you dude. Take care.

I have to respect the amount of effort you put into it.

Coincidence... I'm in downtown right now. I dropped by the Penguin Internet Cafe. That's all I can say. 😊
