We aren't restoring it, we are building on it. As for the path of Emperor Palpatine, I know his mistakes, that's why we have history. So we do not commit the same mistakes that were made. I have seen the possibilities, but I have found me choice in one set example: The Roman Empire. And I chose to follow it's example, and succeed.
i see and what do you expect to acomplish when all you do is destroy..if and empire is a dictatorship then whats the point of being a murderer to concer? if they lose and have to serve under the empier they could kill the selves...then think about what iff all who opsed killed themselves and then many planets lay filled with dead corpses then what would you do?

I would move on, not all will kill myself, and I am not a boliverant tyrant. Have you ever considered a Race that will only join you if they fought, a race so powerful that any form of negotiations are considered a weakness, and would never do buisness with another weak race. Well both galaxies are filled with them. I guess you never looked into the possibilities, then again, your not emperor.
