People thought the prophecy wouldn't be fulfilled, because Anakin had become Vader, yet they had no way of knowing that he would toss smelly there down a shiny shaft thing-a-ma-bob.

ohh god not this again. luke didnt do anything really, he just showed anakin (the chosen one) the right path again, who fulfilled his destiny and destroyed the sith by giving his life to destroy palps and then dying..

Oh to hell with it the, Skywalker name fufilled the prophecy. Does it really matter who fulfilled prophecy? I mean Anakin needed to have Luke in order to give him a motivational beatdown and remind his father the good that can be done and that you don't have fear the darkside. Seeing his son suffer refusing to join the darkside made him get his inner goodness back

But it teaches a good moral that I don't think Lucas picked up on: Only through scarifice can there be what is right and redemption.

Anakins' turn to the darkside was a scarifice so that Luke would rise up.

Yes and it was Anakin not Vader that killed the Emperor and restored balance to the force. Not denying Luke had his roll to play but in the big scheme....and it hurts me to say this.... Luke was basically a supporting actor

common knowledge that its Anakin. Lucas has said it himself, the whole star wars saga is a story about anakin, the chosen one

So... did Sidious or Plageius create Anakin?

If so, is he still the Chosen One? Surely they wouldn't have knowingly created someone who was said to bring balance to the Force... unless they though the balance would be in their favour.

The Chosen One is said to be someone created by the midichlorians to bring balance to the Force. Anakin does brings balance to the Force... and he is created by the midichlorians.

Did the prophet suspect it to happen this way? Or is it just the way it happened?

and I'm not just talking about Palpatine here... I mean why would Lucas bring it up? He knew we know Anakin was created by the midichlorians... surely he must be implying that Sidious or Plagueis had something to do with it. Otherwise there's no reason at all to bring it up.

Fact: Sidious made that whole midi shit up to mess with anakins head because he could read anakins thoughts of padme cause he wasnt guarding himself around palps because he didnt know he could look into him with the force adn see what was troubling him.

Why would he say that? Anakin wants to save life not create it.
