Are not the character outfits of the original SW trilogy better than the prequels?

Example: i remaber when I first laid eyes on Han Solo and Luke in Hoth gear(clothe). It was like nothing I can rembar. I loved all the cloud city oufits for Luke and Han! In RotJ, Luke is in a black suit I have never seen a Jedi wear. All the original outfits were magical, and the prequels are so drab. I hate all those Senate, counsul, and guards uniforms, and the jedi all dress in same outfit, its like a code.

I like Anakin's jedi gear, but hate the way anyone other Jedi dress in the pt.

Anakin's outfit is rather killer, it has leather black pads all over. Rock n roll! What's up with Luke's outfit in Return of the Jedi? I never seen a Jedi wear a type of uniform tights?
