Palpatine-"Yes Anakin come closer I have good news. Our clone intelligence units have discovered the location of General Grevious, he is hiding in the Utupau system."

Anakin: At last will be able to catch that monster and end this war.

Palpatine-"I would worry about the collective wisdom of the council if they didnt select you for this assigment, you're the best choice by far. Sit down. Leave us."

Palpatine: "Anakin, you know i cant rely on the Jedi Council. If they havent included you in there plot, they soon will."

Anakin-"I'm not sure I understand."

Palpatine: "You must sense what i have come to expect. The Jedi Council want control of the Republic. There planning to betray me."

Anakin-"I dont thi...."

Palpatine: "Anakin.....search your feelings. You know....dont you."

Anakin: "I know they don't trust you."

Palpatine: "Hmm, or the senate, or the Republic. Or democracy for that matter."

Palpatine: This reminds me of a old legend. Are you familiar with the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?

Anakin: No

Palpatine: Accaording to the legend, he could directly influence the midi-chlorians to creat life.He was so powerful he could even stop people from dieing. The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

Anakin: What happened to him?

Palpatine: Well he became so powerful he was afraid to loose them. So he taught everything to his apprentice.

Anakin: What happened?

Palpatine: One night while he was sleeping, his apprentice came in and killed him. Thats the tragic irony, you see he could save everyone else from dieing but not himself.

Anakin: Is it possible to learn these powers?

Palpatine: Not from a jedi.
