I heard that no kind of Kryptonite will affect him in the future.

You forgot about magic.Superman has two vulnerabilities.

And red sunlight. There are all kinds of different kryptonite as was inevitable on a decades long continuum.

An old sun like Krypton's would make him simply mortal. And Kryptonite has different properties to the original material of Krypton.
