What if Aliens exist?

Started by Kaled25 pages

okies, i got a theory for what it counts for, i'm not sure whether i believe this but it does make sense in a werid way...

ok, so supposing all of creation started from this "big bang" and it traveled in a sphere outward, i think that our planet was formed say X distance from the orginal blast, so it would make some sense if something similar happens at all 360 degree's around the orginal blast at X distance from the blast. so if life formed on our planet, the right chemicals could just have easily spread somewhere else, right?

i know its a little far fetched, its just an idea

i don't really go for the whole "being watched" thing, i mean if they are then i'l be damned but. It fits into my idea of the "secret weapons of the US government" my opinion on that is simply that they want to imtimidated people into doing as they say and want, and thus came from the government itself. They use stories of alien cover ups to promote the idea they have superior technology. Just like religions hundred of years ago, its just another from of control

i actually thought of this now

what if earth was just here and unhibated after the dinosaurs? what if we are desendents of anciet astronauts exploring a planet for the last 1000's of years?

what would it mean, to any religion that has at it's core that *a* god(s) created Earth / Life on Earth (with no reference to other planets) and the whole "we are special" thing, if life on other planets is found?

doesn't it make "Genesis", for one, ... um... wrong?

we only know of like 3% of the univers, i think less though, and the think there's life on Titan (a moon in our solarsystem which is a iceball, but using some sort of technology the found out that it's not completely frozen, and it belongs to either saturn or jupiter) i think it would be impossible for alien life not to exist, and i think that at one point mars had life, maybe when their planet was losing it's atmosphere the martians came here and died off while man was still evolving or perhaps they were here before dinosaurs, or maybe man didn't originate from earth maybe the martians brought us here and and we evolved excepts in a badwards way to adapt somehow or something rather, but i think there is alien life out there

Titan is Saturnian. Enceladus, another Saturnian moon is also a possible because it has liquid water under its ice as well because of an off-axis molten core (hence why the ice covering on one side will crack every so often and shoot geysers into space). Europa, a Saturnian moon is another ice covered planet that has a molten core and liquid water underneath. But yeah, I totally agree with you that there is alien life.

If we cant see aliens a big possibility is that they are already here but we cant see them. Aliens dont have to be in physical form and travel in spacehips.

Maybe they are powerful beings like we humans are to ants. An ant may not realy be aware that humans exist. When a human walks it may think its an earthquake not a human.

If there are aliens I would still not lose my faith in God.

Why would it? 😕 How does existance of aliens negate the existance of God.

I'm more of a believer in the existence of intelligent extra-terrestrial life than in religion.

I think, on purely spiritual terms, there is purpose and value beyond material reality but that it does not mean subscribing to the dribblings and twaddle of bizarro people.

As a strictly logical point, Alien life = redundancy of the Islamic concept of "The Day of Judgement".

If we can travel in space, we have no need to worry about the termination of Earth that Allah promises will occur.

Anyway, not a big fan of religion so I guess I have a margnial view ...

Well, one argument could be that since man was made in the image of God, and if the aliens don't fit that image, somethings a little off there. And then they'd say "lack of canonical evidence, yada yada yada...".

Personally, to me, it's not an "if" they exist, it's a "where they exist".

Well yeah if you go into that much detail.

Well this is the way I see it if God created everything then he created aliens too, but of course if you're a fundie theres bound to be a problem.

"The Devil is in the detail"...

all religious books could just as easily have been written by the Devil. since in practise the majority of believers are sanctimonious, self-righteous and proud. the very sins that these religions espouse to despise.

Ok I dont really understand what the relevance of this is. 😕

What if Aliens exist?

Then "Earth" is their favorite sitcom.

Ofcourse Aliens exist.

Our Galaxy alone contains billions of stars, many with thier own solar systems.

Our Universe contains billions of galaxies.

It is highly egocentric, illogical, and delusional to beleive that we are the only planet with Life. Come on.

intelligent life? no. life period? like fungus and mold and stuff? of course it's out there.

So if you can have fungus and mold why cant you have intelligent life. That argument isnt consistent.

when i say intelligent life, i mean a life form that can actually communicate with us. one that has technology, not one that grows on rocks.
is fungus intelligent?

I never said fungus was intelligent, my point is if you can have fungus why cant you have more complicated lifeforms?

i just think that we would have made some kind of contact by now.
