like long pig said strange is more versatile with magic he would win. I dont understand is why diablo didnt just turn the well to glass or something he just sat there.
Because he has no powers, he only can do anything with his potions, the villagers took his potions.
Alchemy is magic by way of certian potions and magical artifacts.
Strange has magic within him, and can tap into limitless supplies straight from the universe.
