its because they have a safty thing that if the pressure is let go, they turn off because if they stay on, it might hit another person. its a safty thing. the throwing sabers is called force throw. they use to force to keep pressure on it

the guy who started this thread is a moron! If you don't understand why a light saber goes on and off or how it can stay on when it is thrown, then you are a lousy excuse for a fan.
