Why are people such bastards over the internet?

To be completely honest, I don't find her attractive at all. Some people are all like, "Oh, she's cute!" Not me. But I don't think that people need to be assholes about the way she looks.

(By the way, Caydiem is a female community representative. In case you didn't get that from my use of the pronoun 'her'.)

Huh. I just had something really weird happen to me. It turned around my view on this entire situation.

I clicked on the link for Caydiem's picture again and I stared at it for a little bit. I looked into her eyes--well, the picture's eyes--and I felt something.

It was sadness, pain.

Why would you all be so cruel to an individual whose job it is to serve you? Even if she sucks--not my opinion, but some of yours--why would you mock her? We all know you would even if she was the best moderator ever.

Why would you want to wound someone who has done nothing to you besides exist? Look at her--there is joy in her eyes. True happiness, happiness to be who she is, to even be alive. And yet you all feel like you need to disparage her. To jeer at her. Her imperfections are only those of which all humans suffer.

Caydiem looks, well, normal. She is not hideous or a freak. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for being so cruel. How dare you mock her! I don't care if you are the most attractive person in the world--what gives YOU the RIGHT to make fun of another person, especially on looks (or intelligence or anything, for that matter)?
