J-Pop/Rock

How can you tell the difference? Dragon Ash for example, they do a bit of both, and hip-hop, so what are they? J-Pop or J-Rock? same with Asian Kung Fu Generation, are they too popular to be J-Rock? Does that mean they are J-Pop? I really wanna know, Dragon Ash are class and Asian Kung Fu Generation are good too.

i dont get you

I think Dragon Ash are just J-Rock, got some cool songs.

Hey, but Pop stands for popular right, I dunno how popular they are in Japan

because he didnt mention 3days grace or the used perhaps?

I like L'arc~en~Ciel......they are not that much of J-rock now, but still good.

J-pop is just Japanese pop music. Think Ayumi Hamasaki or Utada Hikaru. They're wildly popular in Japan.

Dragon Ash is J-rock, as is Malice Mizer.

Utada Hikaru, I love her song on the credits of Casshern.
