Yup, we do. But that doesn't make it shitty, because we also see clearly that Dooku is often not Lee. But think of it this way: Ian McDiarmid and Christopher Lee are not the SW characters.

Very true. The dialuge is helped by the acting of McDirmid, but palpatines charachter needs to do things Ian can't; hence doubles.

also when he fights yoda and hes hanging onto the senate pod and cackling, then he starts screaming bc hes gonna fall, going "eehhhhhhhhh", that was HILARIOUS!!!! i dunno why i just think those parts were so funny

OMG those faces are great, very funny, but when i was watching it for the first time i couldnt laugh, but i was aware of the faces 🙂
