During the wars it happened all the time though letters....Also happens in prisons.......I think it's more a knowing a personality thingie...

during a war, I guess they knew each other inperson firt, same goes to prison..
and I think they did have a hope of seeing eachother one day. right?

I am a non believer in Internet love...from my stance. Although I've seen it happen.

Not all the time though....Many started off as just class mates or just wanted to write because someone was at war and they thought the person would enjoy a letter from back home....Then they got to know each other....My aunt and uncle married that way....I've also heard that in prisons many write just to be kind and understanding, but got to really know the person, then an attraction happened which people cannot understand, and then judge, saying...how could you fall in love and want to marry a convicted person....
