Man, I would be so P*ssed off if I had to shoot things twice in different locations, undergo all that makeup crap, and wear contact lenses, for it to be deleted.

Seriously, what was so wrong with Anakin quickly stabbing her? OOOH it would have added ten seconds to the movie - big deal.

But like the article states, why would she be meditating with a massacre going on around her?

Lucas probably has wet dreams about her so didn't want to see her gets stabbed in the heart by ANYONE. But as a logical reason, there was one posted, that the clone troopers in front of the temple just waiting for Anakin to kill her wouldn't have really worked.

I would have prefered the Grievous executing her scene, it makes more sense then leaving her wrapped up in electrical wires at the end of the micro-series.
