Wallace was betrayed by a family member whom the English had bribed. He still managed to kill 5 of the 10 fully armed soldiers with his bare hands.
He was found guilty of high treason, against a king he'd never sworn allegence to, in a show-trial before being hung, drawn and quartered.
For those that don't know the process of his death was long and drawn out over hours, a day long "spectacle."
First he was tied to a cross and dragged for miles face down along the streets of London to the specially constructed gallows and "arena." Once there, Wallace was barely recognisable, his front a bloody mess.
He was then hung till unconscious.
He was then revived and was disembowelled and slowly had each of his internal organs removed.
Only then was he beheaded.
His body was then cut into 4 pieces and sent to Newcastle, Perth, Stirling and Berwick. His head was spiked and displayed on London bridge.
The baying crowds lapped up this barbaric, dispicable and truly horrific massacre.
The English people were so scared of him they went to these extreme lengths.
Now I'm pissed off, as it happened, so was Scotland. Enter King Robert the Bruce.
Yup it was always a good idea in those days to go along with King. Don't
be pissed off it was long ago.

Seeing how ali vs lee brought up a heated debate, who would you guys consider the best fighter ever! Now for all you movie buffs, this is not the greatest action star ever.I'm talking Vale tudo nhb tournement stuff.
(i might have posted this on the sports forum once, can't remember).I might have to go with Bas Rutten
The greatest fighter ever is, without a doubt, my character in Def Jam: Fight for NY. ✅ ✅ ✅ no2 ✅

Bas in his prime might quiet of possibly been the best.Tito turned into a ***** however.
i agree tito ortiz is a joke and yes i seroisly do think that ali waz tha best no one can beat THE GREATEST and even to this day he is still considered the Greatest and for all of those that think that ali would lose to tyson yall are Very very ignorant about boxing and yes u pick a fighter and i guarentee that ali would have made fast work of him and i promise that no one of ur fighters can even fuk with ali except for maybe lee and bruce lee still would have lost but lee would have hit him and i bet my charecter on def jam is better then urs lol 😂

I disagree.Ali couldn't finish off Inoki.Their's no way he would take out a good fighter today.Even though i'm not a fan of Tito I still have to give him credit. The man wasn't taken down for two years straight.
I believe that was because he picked his fights. There are some guys who face all challengers, other guys fight who they think they have a good chance to beat. I believe that Ortiz is one of those fighters.
He has great skill, technnique and strength, but he lacks balls, honour and class. Ortiz is afraid of losing, afraid of getting beaten, not because he is physically afraid, but because of his ego. That's why I think he's a joke.
